Stress often affects the digestive system, leaving us feeling bloated and tired. Here, Charlotte takes us through a practice that gently relieves bloating and allows us to tune in to our centre.
Charlotte trained with Jim Tarran at the Vajrasati School in Brighton (500 hours), influenced by a Buddhist approach and done further training with Judith Lasater, Tias Little, Donna Farhi and Cathy-Mae Karelse to draw together a somatic, mindful and compassionate teaching style that respects our body’s individual needs. A specialism in stress helps her teach with sensitivity for the overload and business that we face in modern life.
Charlotte is also a high-profile Nutritional Therapist, practicing for over 15 years and winner of the CAM Award for Outstanding Practice 2012. She is author of many books, including The De-Stress Effect (Hay House 2015) and she also writes regularly for the Mail Online, Om Magazine, Healthista and What Doctor’s Don’t Tell You. She currently teaches on the Stress, Burnout & Chronic Fatigue module for Yoga Campus and lectures for The Minded Institute, having previous lectured for The Institute of Optimum Nutrition and the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
