Dr Oschman obtained his BS degree in biophysics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961 and his PhD in biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 1965. He is the author of over 100 scientific publications and two books, including Energy Medicine: the Scientific Basis and Energy Medicine and Therapeutics in Human Performance. He’s on the editorial board of several scientific journals, including the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, and the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine. He’s a member of various organizations, including the Scientific and Medical Network and the Institute for Science and Society in the UK, the Marine Biology Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies in Energy Medicine. And he is also currently the president of Nature’s Own Research Association.
