    Martin Aylward spent his early 20s in Asian monasteries and with Himalayan hermits. Teaching meditation worldwide since 1999, he co-founded Moulin de Chaves, the retreat center where he lives and teaches in South West France; the Mindfulness Training Institute and the online dharma community Sangha Live. He is married with two adult children, and integrates meditative depth into daily life with programs like Work Sex Money Dharma. His latest book is Awake Where You Are (2021).


Author and Buddhist teacher Martin Aylward talks about how focusing on life's inherent goodness and blessings can support trauma healing and the importance of questioning what's useful above what's true. Interview by Jaia Bristow.
